Katy Perry and John Mayer appear to have reconciled.

Did John Mayer Forget To Say Happy Birthday To Katy Perry?

After reportedly spending time together in Beverly Hills earlier this week, the on-again, off-again couple reunited a second time, enjoying a dinner date a friend's house, and allegedly spending the night together.

"The pop stars were said to have arrived separately, and went to great lengths not to be seen together," the New York Daily News reported on Tuesday of the couple's dinner date, which was captured by photographers. "After the outing, Mayer reportedly spent the night at his ex-girlfriend’s home, and didn’t leave until the following afternoon."

Perry and Mayer began dating in Aug. 2012, but by the end of the month, a source claimed the pair had already split. Then, one month later, things reportedly got serious, and in Feb. 2013, it was reported that the couple became engaged. The following month, Perry and Mayer were said to have broken up for a second time, only to get back together by June of the same year.

Eventually, Perry and Mayer called it quits again, this time in Feb. 2014.

Prior to her recent outings with Mayer, Perry had been linked to DJ Diplo. However, according to an Us Weekly source, the pair were only having fun.

“It was only ever a hookup thing with Diplo and never serious," the source told the magazine. "Katy was so busy touring all last year that she couldn’t be with anyone seriously. The pace of the tour was excruciatingly hard to get through. She had no downtime."
