The Voice wrapped its seventh season just last month, Season 8 will be airing next month and Season 9 is starting to cast.

The Voice airs twice a year so it's no surprise casting is about to happen for Season 9 even though Season 8 hasn't begun airing yet.

On Jan. 7 The Voice's official Twitter account tweeted, "Think you could be #TheVoice? Here's your chance to prove it - follow @TheVoiceCasting for more details!"

Just a couple of days prior, on Jan. 5, the casting Twitter account tweeted, "Holidays are over and #TheVoice open call auditions are around the corner!" It also mentioned registering on The Voice's website.

The Voice's open call auditions will be hitting four cities between Jan. 24 and Feb. 22.

First up for the open call auditions is New York City on Jan. 24 and Jan. 25. Los Angeles is next on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1. The open call auditions are then heading down south to Atlanta on Feb. 14 and Feb. 15. They finish up in Chicago on Feb. 21 and Feb. 22.

On The Voice's website to register it says they're "looking for solo artists and duos that perform all types of music: pop, rock, R&B, hip-hop, alternative, Latin, country, blues, indie."

Season 7's runner-up Matt McAndrew and third place finisher Chris Jamison are being totally supportive about publicizing the open call auditions that are coming up. They have each tweeted about them!
