'Eye Candy' Spoilers: Actor Teases Possible Love Triangle On MTV Series Ahead Of Premiere, When Will His Character Realize He Likes Lindy? [VIDEO]
The premiere for Eye Candy is already sparking up some questions with its enticing drama that will include a possible love triangle coming along.
On Monday, Hollywood Life posted an interview with actor Casey Deidrick who plays Tommy on the series. He mentioned that while he'll be investigating some serious cases, he's also going to try to win the heart of Lindy- the main character played by Victoria Justice.
"It's platonic at first. At the start of the season especially. But there's always a fine line between friendship and feelings," the actor said. "I think Tommy realizes that he does have feelings for her at the end of the season. And I think they work really well together! I think he doesn't like the fact that it happens, but he likes working with her a lot."
Chatter On 'Finding Carter' Season 2 Filming
With the way Deidrick described Lindy, it sounds like she'll be someone worth fighting for.
"He's fascinated by her. She's very smart, she's very witty. And very tech-savvy," the actor said. "And I think he's learning a lot from her."
While this might stir up some hope for a Lindy-Tommy love story, it turns out that someone else is likely going to make his way into the young woman's life.
"I'm just in the background for now!" Deidrick said about his character. "What's a good love story without a good love triangle? I think something like that will be in the mix as well."
Eye Candy premieres on Monday, January 12 at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
