The newest Immortal told dear old dad to get lost when he attacked surrogate daddy Coulson (Clark Gregg), but Cal (Kyle MacLachlan) will pop up whether Skye/Daisy/Quake (Chloe Bennet) wants him too or not.

"I think it's only going to get more difficult [for Skye and Cal]," MacLachlan told TV Line. "When they hand me the scripts, I'm always pleasantly surprised by the direction they take the character in and what they're asking me to do."

However, it remains to be seen how much time Cal will spend murdering and how much he will spend trying to make up for all the years he missed as a father.

"I like playing his scary side, and I like playing the father and man who has been through a lot," MacLachlan said.

It looks like fans will see Cal sooner rather than later. Actress Ming-Na Wen (May) posted a photo with the Doctor before Christmas, indicating that he will pop up not long after the March midseason premiere.
