A bunch of stills from the mid-season premiere, titled Left Behind, were recently revealed.
The images were released via TVLine and feature John Diggle (David Ramsay), Felicity (Emily Bett-Rickards) and Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh).
A new promo for the episode was previously revealed and it teases the aftermath of Oliver's (Stephen Amell) death as the darkness takes over.
John Barrowman (Malcolm Merlyn) is seen breaking the news to the team, stating that Oliver's death. Other highlights that flash through the clip are Larel (Katie Cassidy) taking up the mantle of Black Canary. Ray (Brandon Routh) is also seen trying his suit as the Atom in the promo. A villain is seen stating that the darkness will take over the glades.
A recent report revealed that there would be flashback scenes set in Hong Kong in the upcoming episodes of season 3, and it is known that Amell has shot for these, as the flashbacks essentially told his backstory in the city. It was reported that Matthew Shrieve would be guest starring in the show, and would play a "significnat role in the flashbacks story line."
It was also revealed that he would make his first appearance via a Hong Kong flashback scene. This would mean that all of this could have something to do with Oliver's story, so fans who were worried they wouldn't get to see the hero again, might ease up a touch, as there might be some more of Amell to see.
