During the season finale, an old familiar face reappeared, leaving fans beyond shocked.

On Monday Zap 2 It reported that Phillip Stroh, the evil serial rapist and killer who was put behind bars, made a cameo during the season finale.

Stroh, who was once an attorney, has been in jail working on his own case, and he's willing to give information about a murder in return for a better deal.

Some of the episode is spent trying to find the murder that Stroh has so much information about, but the twist comes when Stroh escapes his guards and runs free.

This shocking season finale left fans floored, and now they have even more questions than before.

While the season is officially over, all is not lost. Back in July, TNT confirmed that the show would be returning to Monday nights in the very near future.

Luckily, the TNT hit show was picked up for a 15 episode fourth season. While there's no word on when the new season will make it's debut, fans know that the wait will be worth it.
