As fans have been waiting for Zoe to tell Wade that she is expecting their first child together on the CW's Hart of Dixie, her hesitancy to do so almost pushes him away for good.

Scott Porter Teases Huge Change For George Tucker 'Not Going To Be All Zade All The Time'

The show's executive producer Leila Gerstein spoke with The CW recently and has given fans a first look at Zoe's attempt to avoid Wade and her surprise bun in the oven.

"At the end of the last episode we revealed that Zoe was pregnant with Wade's baby. Wade obviously doesn't know that. All he knows is that he went to go tell Zoe he was ready to make a go of it and she slammed the door in his face."

As for the second episode set to air Friday (Jan. 16), Wade ends the trend of staying away from difficult conversations with Zoe and tells her outright, "I am thoroughly confused."

When it comes to other couples in Bluebell, Lemon surprised Lavon and George (much to their dismay) with her "new beau."

Gerstein said, "George and Lavon are both very jealous. So they begrudgingly work together to get the real scoop on Lemon's new boyfriend."

Lemon is not the only Breeland having an interesting love triangle in the second episode called The Curling Iron. Anna Beth (AB) walks in on Dr. Brick kissing his on-again-off-again girlfriend Shelby.

Gerstein said, "Shelby came back to declare her love for Brick."

The only problem is, his mother Betty is still in Bluebell. So Brick pleads with Anna Beth not to let anyone know until about he and Shelby's reunion until Betty leaves.
