The evil plot to gain control of ELQ has been going well so far for Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) and her band of criminals, but things could take a drastic turn for the worse on General Hospital.

Nikolas Joins The Dark Side

Not only has she successfully managed to keep the real Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) hidden away so her Fluke impersonator could wander around town, but she has also been able to get Johnny Zaccara (Brandon Barash) released from prison, conditioned Jake (Billy Miller) to do her bidding, and convinced Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) to join in on the dark side of the family. But with her newest addition of bringing Rosalie (Linda Elena Tovar) into the plot by working as Michael's (Chad Duell) assistant, the plan could fall apart.

Rosalie is supposed to be secretly working for the Cassadines as she fills in for Michael, but after going with him to the old Spencer house and seeing the location he plans to use for the new clinic, she could wind up putting the entire plot in danger-because she has unknowingly led Michael to the location where Luke has been stashed.

The Mayoral Election Brings New Drama To Town

"Thank you for taking a chance on me," she says to Michael in a preview clip for the Thursday, Jan. 15 episode.

However, Helena will be made aware that her plot could be very close to crashing and burning-and will order Rosalie to get Michael off the property immediately-before he becomes wise to what is going on in the building's basement.

"Get Michael out of there now!" she orders.

But it appears more than one element of the plot could have gone awry, as Fluke will meet with Johnny again as they continue working their angle-only for Fluke to demand answers about something very clearly going wrong with their plot.

"How the hell did that happen?" Fluke asks a stunned Johnny in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
