Robert Greenblatt, NBC Entertainment Chairman, spoke about the show's performance and the shocking failing of it.

"I'm disappointed in what it's been doing [ratings-wise] the last couple of weeks. It's a show that I think is a really fine show, so I'm scratching my head a little bit about why we can't get more people to be there for it," he said.

Though NBC could have more issues coming this yeat, it's still unsure if State of Affairs will join the cancelled TV show list.

Part of the networks failure has stemmed from the cancellation of the Bill Cosby project.

"We heard some of those accusations, we knew there were settlements and what not, but it didn't seem to be [at] critical mass," Greenblatt said. "But when that many people come out [with accusations], there was no way that we could move forward with it."

Though it's certainly possible, NBC has not yet actually said that State of Affairs could become their first cancelled TV show of the year.
