Miranda Lambert will always have a second family with her touring band.

Miranda Lambert Goes Brunette For 2015 Tour  

The country star kicked off her Certified Platinum Tour on Thursday and with the amount of time she's going to spend on the road, it's important the Somethin' Bad singer has a strong support system both on and off the stage.

On Friday Lambert shared a photo of herself and the touring musicians on Instagram, referring to the band as part of her family.

Life isn't always easy on the road, but Lambert and her crew always try to make the best of it. Back on June 3 when the singer's plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Clarksburg, WV she and a few others killed time on the ground by goofing around and trying on some of the firemen's gear.

The singer will continue touring over the next few months with stop sin North Carolina, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Iowa, Texas, Washington, and more. Her husband, fellow country artist Blake Shelton, won't start his own tour until March.

Lambert will meet up with Shelton in Delaware for the Big Barrel Country Festival this June.
