The long-awaited duo, Lindsay and Halstead, finally got together in Chicago PD, but will Sophia come back and ruin everything?

Will Angelique Cabral's Character Join The Intelligence Team On A Case?

Thursday marked a monumental episode in the NBC hit-series for the show's most-adored couple. But Carter Matt reported that it could all go down the drain with the return of Sophia.

Lindsay and Halstead finally got together after a lot of back-and-forth between the two, but since Sophia Bush's character is feeling underwhelmed about her new job, she could leave and return to Intelligence.

This, of course, would cause trouble for Lindsay and Halstead if they remain together. Carter Matt reported that NBC is being coy about what will happen in the next episode, Disco Bob.

Rather than hone in on this particular issue, they have released details about other characters. The summary for the episode reads:

"Bob Ruzek (guest star Jack Coleman) is the first to arrive on the scene of a double murder. Intelligence arrives to take over the investigation tensions arise as Bob needs to hand over the case to his son (Patrick Flueger) and Voight (Jason Beghe). Lindsay's (Sophia Bush) new gig has her planning a trip to Bolivia for an undercover investigation that could be for an extended amount of time. Burgess (Marina Squerciati) and Roman (Brian Geraghty) realize they need to put past events behind them so it doesn't jeopardize them going forward."

While it does mention that Lindsay could be stationed elsewhere, no one can be sure yet. Fans don't want her to be separate from the team, and Sophia is an important character, so only time will tell what will really happen.
