How Netflix Could Bring 'Longmire' To The Emmys In 2015

Burning Desire will make its debut at St. Malachy Chapel in New York City on Wednesday, Jan. 28 at 8 p.m. Directed by Richard Zavaglia, it will star Phillips, Freeman, and Tyler Jacob Moore.

This is not Phillips first turn as a writer. In 2014 he penned an opening for author Craig Johnson's latest novel in the Longmire series, Wait For Signs. Johnson's series has served as the basis for the television series.

In 2014 Longmire took a blow when A&E elected to cancel the crime drama following the close of its third season. The series lingered in uncertainty for months before Netflix swooped in and picked the show up in December.

Production is set to begin in March.

Longmire will return on Netflix for a fourth season during the later half of 2015.
