Hawaii Five-0 will double up the comedy before plunging viewers into tears during episode 18.

Consequences from the Reyes debacle catch up with Danny (Scott Caan) and Chin (Daniel Dae Kim) during episode 18 but, before they do, Danno will pay a little visit to Grace's school.

"Hilarious Career Day fun @ Monkey's class w/Danno&Max thrills," executive producer Peter Lenkov tweeted on Saturday.

The coroner and the detective will undoubtedly provide some levity to a dark episode (see photo above), but the humor won't last long. Lenkov warns that viewers should "be prepared" and "buy tissues."

Viewers will certainly want to horde the Kleenex for Danny's ominous phone call home. Traped in a Mexican prison, Caan's character will belive the end is near. Instead of calling Five-0 for money to bribe the guard, he uses his phone time to say a final goodbye to his daughter.

"Some great and emo Monkey/Danno & Monkey/Uncle Steve moments in #H50 518," Lenkov teased.
