For Supernatural's Crowley (Mark Sheppard), his afternoon nap leaves him dreaming of death and revolution - typical topics for any demon's unconscious musings, but an absolute nightmare if you're the King.

Of course, Crowley probably wouldn't dream of anything if mother dearest hadn't put a hex bag under his throne. Rowena (Ruth Connell) is back, and her grand schemes require her to manipulate the most powerful man in hell.

Crowley, however, isn't blind to his mother's unwanted meddling.

"In terms of her manipulating him, Crowley first of all at this moment in the season is still trying to figure out exactly what she's up to," executive producer Jeremy Carver told The Hollywood Reporter. "I don't think he's blind to her manipulation or her ability to manipulate, [but] I don't think he necessarily has the proof of what she's doing."

While Crowley and viewers try to figure out how Rowena's decisions in hell will lead to her Grand Coven, the mother/son relationship will provide some shockers as season 10 winds down.

"Their relationship - which is really, really delicious and fun and complex - is going to take a lot of really neat twists as we go toward the end of the season," Carver teased.
