Ray To Return On 'NCIS: LA', Is Deeks' Max Gentry Back As Well?

The LAPD detective and the NCIS agent made a yuletide pact to move forward with their relationship, and episode 16 (filming as episode 614) will show off a new side to the partners.

"#HappySaturday morning. [Terence Nightingall] completed D[ay] 1 of E614," executive producer John Peter Kousakis tweeted on Saturday. "He directed #densi in a scene like never b4 in 6 years. #staytuned."

Penned by Dave Kalstein ("Spiral," "Three Hearts"), "Expiration Date" is hsappingup to a major episode for Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen). The detective's old friend Ray will return, and that means Deeks will probably have to whip out an old alias. Seen only a handfull of times before, Deeks' Max Gentry shows off the character's darker side.

Hopfully Max's behavior won't cause any problems with Densi.

Meanwhile, the episode is sure to pack in the action. First introduced in season 5's "The Frozen Lake," Jemadar Thapa (Ernie Reyes Jr.) will bring his gurkha fighting skills to Los Angeles once more, and Olsen's brother David dropped by set on Wednesday in order to film some stunts for Deeks.
