Contradicting her previous Twitter posts, rapper Nicki Minaj is featured on Lil Wayne's "Dedication 4" mixtape singing about none other than a presidential candidate and her Republican vote for Mitt Romney.

In the song "Mercy," her line that is grabbing everyone's attention is "I'm a Republican voting for Mitt Romney/You lazy b-ches is f---ng the economy."

However, it is being rumored that perhaps the "Pound the Alarm" singer might be rapping her Republican support just for the sake of Wayne's track.

In June, Minaj started a Twitter debate about the United States healthcare system, where she expressed her support for President Obama's healthcare reform plan. She said healthcare should be guaranteed for every American and tweeted, "That should be a God given right! Just FREE health care to all. @barackobama What can we do? @BarackObama I wouldn't mind the millions [the government] took if it was going to healthcare."

Minaj told MTV News about how she got herself on Lil Wayne's new mixtape.

"I said, 'Excuse me, I need to be on that mixtape,' and he said, 'Aight, whatever you wanna do.' So I just went into the other room and recorded on this particular beat that I'm sure my fans are gonna be very happy that I touched. I'm really excited for the kids to hear."

Minaj also said that Weazy will always be her "mentor."

The singer, born Onika Tanya Maraj, was born in Trinidad and Tobago and her second album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded was released in April 2012. Without giving away too many details, she confirmed to MTV that she will release something before the end of the year.
