Diem Brown Wanted To Win 'The Challenge' So She Could Start A Family

During filming on The Challenge: Battle of the Exes II, Brown fell ill and was taken to a local hospital. Although Brown eventually returned back to the house, and her co-stars, she returned to the hospital a short time later, and was eventually flown home.

After arriving in New York, Brown was diagnosed with colon cancer, and on Nov. 14, 2014, she passed away. Prior to her death, several co-stars, including Brown's on-again, off-again boyfriend, Chris "CT" Tamburello, visited her in the hospital.

"She was a fighter," Wisely added. "That's what these shows were for her, [a chance] to go out there and show everybody that it doesn't matter what's wrong — she's gonna fight."

Moore said, "She was obviously somebody who battled something she didn't deserve and couldn't avoid. She was just a testament to human strength. She didn't complain. She made no excuse. She took whatever card she was dealt."

The Challenge: Battle of the Exes II airs Tuesday nights at 11 p.m. on MTV.
