It looks like the Australian magazine that photoshopped Kate Middleton is trying to hide the incident by releasing a new version of the cover.

Kate Middleton Photo Controversy

According to the Daily Mail on Tuesday, all social media promotion of the cover features a much different image than the one printed on the physical magazine. Apparently the publication has gone a little easier on Kate's face and eyes for the new images.

Still heavily photoshopped, the new picture has offered the princess a more realistic complexion and has toned down the whitening of her teeth and reddening of her lips.

Prince William & Princess Kate Take George On Family Getaway

The popular Australian magazine Woman's Day made headlines for all the wrong reasons this week when the publication's cover story featured an unrealistically altered photograph of Princess Kate. The magazine has not addressed the mishap, though the recent correction of the image proves that someone is aware of the backlash the magazine received in the public eye.

Prince William and Princess Kate have yet to comment on the incident. They are currently vacationing with their one-year-old son, George, and the Middleton family in the Caribbean this week. The getaway is an annual trip for Kate to celebrate the birthday of her mother, Carole Middleton.

In 2014 she joined her family with her son but not her husband as Prince William had been committed to his studies. This year, however, it seems the prince was able to get away to spend a few days with his family on the beach.

Kate is expected to give birth to her second child in April.
