Robert Pattinson came on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 6 with fellow "Twilight" cast members to show a preview from the final installation in the movie's franchise, however, the video might have been hard for him to watch, seeing that it focused mostly on Kristen Stewart.

The clip from "Breaking Dawn Part 2" showed Stewart's character, Bella Cullen, as a fortified vampire - jumping off a cliff, kicking a guy in the face and playing mom to her daughter with Edward, Renesmee (played by Mackenzie Foy). Also shown briefly in the clip is the expected confrontation and battle between the Cullen family and the Volturi, the royals of the vampire world that are to be obeyed and not messed with.

Stewart was no where to be found at the VMA's on Thursday night. Instead, she was at the Toronot International Film Festival for the premiere of her film "On the Road."

Pattinson looked like his old self at the VMAs, choosing a casual look while his cast mates, like Taylor Lautner, sported suits.

"It's been an amazing journey, and we'd like to thank all the fans," Pattinson said before the clip was played.

The VMA has seen Pattinson and Stewart many times together and once while accepting an award, the pair almost kissed in front of thousands.
