How Much More Of Kai Will We See On 'The Vampire Diaries'?

TV Guide reported Wednesday that in the following episode, The Day I Tried to Live, Caroline would only continue to freak out over losing her mother.

It airs on Feb. 5 and executive producer Julie Plec revealed, "Definitely Caroline's journey on this is really-it's a real rollercoaster because she's always so put together and always has it so together."

"In the thirteenth episode [The Day I Tried to Live] she spends the entire episode looking for the original Miss Cuddles that we learn she had something to do with the demise of back when she and Bonnie [Kat Graham] were six," Plec added.

"She's just kind of all over the map. She's having a hard time facing her mom and dealing with the fact that there's an expiration date [on her mother's life]."

It seems as though Caroline and the others will be trying to save Bonnie, but Caroline's scattered with her emotions.

On Thursday, Hollywood Life revealed some stills from the Feb. 12 episode Stay, which displays Stefan (Paul Wesley) being Caroline's rock.

Wesley previously told TVLine on Jan. 22 that Caroline is his character's "main focus" lately.

"She's sort of a huge part of his life now as a friend. Stefan and Elena were so inseparable, bonded, etc., and Caroline and Stefan are now sort of the duo. Everything he does revolves around Caroline at this point," Wesley said.
