Fans haven't been as warm and receptive to the new cast of Party Down South 2 on social media, but they need to get used to seeing more of Bradley, Raven, Ashton, Tommy, Karynda, Hunter, Magan and Duke.

Bradley Takes Things Too Far After Getting Drunk

According to Al.com, the spin-off has seen some high ratings-somewhat equal to those enjoyed by the original PDS cast in their first two seasons-meaning CMT isn't likely to not try and capitalize on their popularity and give them additional seasons as well.

According to a CMT press release from last week, the lineup for "Thirsty Thursdays," which features episodes of Party Down South 2 and Redneck Island, hit a season high on Jan. 22, with the episode of PDS2 in particular bringing in its highest-rated and most-watched episode of the season with 857,000 total viewers and 605,000 adults 18-49.

Karynda's Drunken State Results In An Unexpected Surprise

The numbers aren't all that different from the ones usually attached to the original cast, who have been given the tag of being a part of the most-viewed series CMT has ever presented, with at least one episode during their second season raking in more than 1.1 million viewers.

The original show helped turn its cast-Mattie Breaux, Tiffany Heinen, Lauren White, Lyle Boudreax, Ryan 'Daddy' Richards, Josh Murray and Walt Windham (also Taylor 'Lil Bit' Wright, who left the show after season 2)-into quasi celebrities-meaning the cast of part 2 could soon be behind them with their own new levels of fame.

Another new face could also find some instant fame with the show as well, as CMT announced that Lil Bit had been replaced with newcomer Hannah 'Hott Dogg' Guidry when the cast returns for their 3rd season in February.

Party Down South 2 airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on CMT.
