Baby Daddy is about to have a crossover with General Hospital on Wednesday night's episode where some teases were released on the comedy and potential romance that could take place.

On Tuesday, Sitcoms Online posted the details from Kelly Monaco and Derek Theler as their characters blend into each other on the ABC Family series. Monaco will be playing herself as Theler's character Danny works on the hospital soap opera that Monaco stars in.

The actors were asked if there would be some kind of love story with their characters among their current lovers; it doesn't appear to be heading that way, but never say never.

"We're not going that far," Monaco said with a laugh. "We'll see how well the show is viewed and what the fans think. There is always room to come back."

Theler then pointed out what a great experience it was for him to be able to let his character struggle as an actor.

"It was really fun having Danny actually go through acting and see his lack of skills obviously as an actor and just play around with the heightened reality of what would it be like for a sitcom in General Hospital in the Baby Daddy world, so it was a great time playing with Kelly in front of an audience and things," the actor said.

Baby Daddy airs on Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
