Following numerous sexual assault and rape allegations against longtime actor Bill Cosby, legendary actor Sidney Poitier has come forward saying he is 'terribly disgusted' with him.

On Wednesday, Philly reported on behalf of the National Enquirer that Poitier's thoughts on the matter were none too nice.

Apparently Poitier has known Cosby for quite some time and is astonished and disgusted that he has thirty claims against him.

"Look at Sidney Poitier - unblemished, untainted, and distinguished. Look at Bill Cosby. Thirty women, they're not all lying," a source said.

This is not the first time Poitier's name has come up amidst the allegations against Cosby. One of the women who has come forward, Joan Tarshis, was reportedly introduced to Poitier by Cosby in 1969.

"He once introduced me to Sidney Poitier as 'Midget,' his pet name for me because I was 5-foot-3," Tarshis said.

Cosby allegedly took her to his nearby bungalow later that day and proceeded to drug and rape her.

"The next thing I remember was coming to on his couch while being undressed. Through the haze I thought I was being clever when I told him I had an infection and he would catch it and his wife would know he had sex with someone. But he just found another orifice to use. I was sickened by what was happening to me and shocked that this man I had idolized was now raping me. Of course I told no one," Tarshis said.

"I can tell you that Mr. Poitier is terribly disgusted by what Bill Cosby has done, and he feels sorry for him," the source said.
