Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) have already traveled halfway through the season without knowing what kind of boss battle will throw them into the summer hiatus. "So that being said, I think [the Mark] is his cross to bear right now," Ackles explained. "It's a bit of a steady decline - a slow deterioration - for Dean. It's a ticking time bomb, and we're really starting to realize there's no way to put the fuse out."
