Lambert was thrilled with the win, though points for enthusiasm must go to her husband. Lambert's beau, fellow country singer Blake Shelton, had a few things to say on Twitter following her big win.

Shelton watched Lambert's acceptance speech onstage with bright eyes and a proud smile on his face, unable to take his eyes off his wife as she spoke about both her career and the industry as a whole.

"I love every album in this category," declared Lambert as she accepted the award. "I'm so grateful for this. I poured my heart and soul into this record."

Lambert scored her first Grammy back in 2011 for Best Female Country Vocal Performance with the hit The House That Built Me. This year she stood as the only artist nominated in all five country music categories, with more nods than stars like Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, and pal Carrie Underwood.

Platinum was released on June 3 and quickly became a commercially and critical success with hits like Automatic and the Carrie Underwood duet Somethin' Bad. In January Lambert launched her 2015 Certified Platinum Tour, which will continue this year through the summer.

The 57th Annual Grammy Awards took place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 8.
