Not only is the Fulcrum in the wind, but Red (James Spader) will now also have to contend with the US National Clandestine Service. The Director (David Strathain) already sussed out the fact that Red doesn't have the Fulcrum, but that doesn't mean his agency will pose any less of a threat.

"This cabal is incredibly powerful and somewhat cloaked in darkness. Alan Fitch, played by Alan Alda, was part of that group. The landscape of that after his death has now changed," executive producer Jon Bokenkamp told TV Guide, explaining that Red, Luther Braxton, and the Fulcrum situation managed to work the Director up into a tizzy.

Now that the Director has raised the stakes, Red will move to St. Petersburg in an effort to uncover Fitch's mysterious safe.

"The last moments with Alan Fitch, he said, "There's a safe in Saint Petersburg on the second floor of--" and that's all we know," Bokenkamp teased. "Red is sort of working with the pieces of a puzzle, trying to assemble and figure out where the safe is, what's in it, and how it might be able to help him in some way."

Spader's master criminal will make his move in "The Kenyon Family," which will air on Feb. 19.
