Couples always tend to face unexpected challenges when competing on The Amazing Race, and one team from the upcoming 26th season definitely knows they will have to face some of their own as they try to win $1 million.

Jelani Looking Forward To 'Surprising' Blind Date

Matt Cucolo and Ashley Gordon, hairstylists from Scarsdale, N.Y., have been together for three years and known one another for 10-but the amount of time they've spent together doesn't make them believe they'll be immune to facing challenges on the race.

"Our biggest challenge though will probably be me personally....trusting...to put..." Gordon says in a pre-race interview with CBS before Cucolo interrupts her and knocks her off her train of thought.

"You listening! That's your biggest challenge!" she teases before continuing. "It's me giving him like total control if he's at like a roadblock or something and I just have to sit there and watch him if he's like messing up and I know what to do and he doesn't. I'll shoot my eye out!"

However, the couple doesn't seem to be too worried about their challenge standing totally in their way-and they have some plans if they win the $1 million.

'I think also too, it's like out future, like it could be a determination on like, you know, buying a house that we want, or living in like an apartment for another 10 years," Gordon said. "Or you know, opening up doors to other things."

"Yeah, who knows, you never know. We're going to be on The Amazing Race! I mean, come on!" Cucolo added.

The Amazing Race premieres Weds. Feb 25 at 9:30 p.m. on CBS.
