The winner of the billion - dollar auction for Olivia Pope will be revealed in the new episode of Scandal and viewers will finally get some answers. After the much-anticipated wait, Scandal is finally back, but unfortunately Liv isn't.

Who Won The Bid For Olivia Pope on 'Scandal'?

The White House and Liv's team of Gladiators have been working around the clock to save Olivia from her captors, but it looks like some of her friends may have given up hope after she was bought by someone in Iran.

Liv's auctioned opened up on the Darknet and terrorist and regime's began placing their bids. Fitz and his team used one of the terrorist allies to front for them so that their cover wouldn't be blown, while the team over at Olivia Pope and Associates received help from Liv's mom, Maya Pope, to get access to the auction.

Unfortunately their efforts didn't work because the auction was abruptly closed when Liv was purchased by a private offer in Iran. In Shondaland, nothing is ever what it appears to be, and based on the new sneak peek, she could know the person who purchased her.

While fans won't know what really happens until the show airs, it is believed that Liv's father, Papa Pope (Rowan), has been involved in saving his daughter all along. While Liv and her dad didn't end things on the best terms, Papa Pope was command of BG13 therefore he sees and knows all things.
