The Sky People will finally make their move on Mount Weather during the finale. Clarke's contingency won't storm the proverbial castle, however. Instead, the plan to save the ever-dwindling 47 will draw inspiration from classic heist films.

"It's almost like a heist movie," series creator Jason Rothenberg told E! Online, comparing the upcoming episode to last year's "We Are Grounders: Part 2." "We're the outsiders trying to get in to save their people on the side. It's a very different kind of battle; it's really much more complicated. It's much more complicated to break in than it is to man the wall."

Viewers should expect the episode to throw around comedy a la Ocean's Eleven. Instead, "Blood Must Have Blood: Part 1" will be a white-knuckle ride for viewers.

"It's so insane, and it's so big, and it's completely not what you would see on The CW," Ginsburg told the Nerdist Writers Panel (via Pop Insomniacs) in regards to the finale. "It's merciless. It's really, really merciless."
