'The Blacklist' Season 2 Spoilers: Tom Keen's Past Revealed, 'Integral' Part Of Upcoming Episodes [VIDEO]
Tom Keen will make a comeback on The Blacklist.
Liz Keen (Megan Boone) released her ex-husband from her boat prison in the midseason finale, but Berlin's enigmatic henchman won't be gone for long.
"Tom is going to be an integral part of the back half of the season," executive producer John Eisendrath told TV Guide. "First we'll learn more about who he really is and what he really does, and then he is going to come back in a way that is going to be incredibly important not just emotionally to Liz, but will in many ways actually be a lifesaver to her."
According to previous reports, Mr. Keen (Ryan Eggold) may help Liz shake the investigation into the dead harbormaster. However, viewers are far more anxious to examine the baddie's past. Eggold assures viewers that a peek at Tom's past is definitely in the cards/
"By the end of Season 2, the truth about who this guy is and where he came from will be out, even in terms of way back when," Eggold said, according to TV Guide. "And then that will inform the relationship with Red and Liz and even shed light on what Red's ultimate plan is in all this. And I think we might get into some of the beginnings of Tom and Liz."
