While her husband's ex-wife, Leah Messer, faces an investigation into her reportedly illegal salon business, Simms has been tweeting positive messages to her fans on social media.

Last week, Simms re-tweeted a message from The Notebook, which read, "Love doesn't need to be perfect. It just needs to be true." On Wednesday, Simms re-tweeted a second message from the account that said, "Trust me when I say I love you, because I will always mean it."

Although Messer claimed in December that she would not be returning to Teen Mom 2 for the upcoming sixth season, she eventually signed on to the series and began filming with her children, Ali, Aleeah and Adalynn, and her ex-husband, Corey, and wife Miranda.

Earlier this month, after announcing her new salon, Gloss, Messer faced reports of an investigation after it was claimed that she and her business partners were operating illegally by offering services they weren't qualified to offer, and not providing their customers with a store.

In resonse to the report, Messer's partner, Leslee Pannell spoke to The Ashley's Reality Roundup, claiming they've done nothing wrong.

"There is zero truth to the investigation,” Pannell insisted. “Nobody [from the state board] has contacted me. We absolutely do have a license. Leah hasn’t done hair or makeup for anything. It’s all me or Crystal.”

Teen Mom 2 season 6 will likely air on MTV sometime later this year.
