Mark Hamill Reveals What 'Star Wars: Episode VII" Is 'Really About'

On Friday, BBC posted an interview with director J.J. Abrams who admitted that some of these chattered questions are indeed taking place in the upcoming film. But the question is, which rumors are they?

"There are a ton of rumors- some true, some false," he said. "But I'm grateful for everyone who would want to read a spoiler because it means that they care and want to see the movie."

Is Carrie Fisher Going To Have A Completely New Look In 'Episode VII?'

The director then talked about what it was like to work on the film with nothing but genuine comments to say.

"I can't wait for you to see it," Abrams said. "It's been a blast working on this and luckily we have an incredible post-production team. There are always challenges as you go but it's been a complete kick to put this together."

In a recent interview with Hero Complex, Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) mentioned that the anticipated flick is going to mostly revolve around the new characters as opposed to the originals.

"I would have been completely okay with [the film] not including us, but I do think having the original cast members there gives it a sense of continuity and scope," the actor said. "But mind you, it's really about the new generation, it's not about us."

Star Wars: Episode VII hits theaters on December 18.
