As is expected, Lady Gaga's wardrobe has stirred things up in the realm of social media. Her accessorising her white gown with a pair of jarring red gloves at the Oscars have become the talk of the internet.

Looking much like rubber gloves with long loose cuffs, Gaga's wardrobe choice was a very easy target. The meme of Gaga promoting washing products has caught on like wild fire. From Buzzfeed declaring that Gaga came to the ceremony after doing the dishes to another Twitter user stating that she was taking out the trash, all sorts of Gaga as cleaning lady imagery has taken over. In some photoshopped pictures she is shown as a maid wearing a red apron over her dress, and in another holding on to a bucket and cleaning liquid. In others her image is conflated with that of washing liquid products and brands like Ivory and Clorox. Some people got innovative and likened Gaga's gloves to big red lobsters.

We imagine Gaga would be pretty unfazed by all of this, as she is very used to wardrobe scrutiny now.
