Check Out Sneak Peeks Of Blind Auditions From 'The Voice' Season 8 Premiere

Monday night, Craig Wayne Boyd took to Twitter to wish Meghan Linsey "good luck".

Boyd hoped his former coach Blake Shelton would nab the fellow Nashville singer, but that's not how things played out in the end.

'The Voice' Coach Christina Aguilera Talks Being Inspired & Inspiring Others

Linsey performed Nazareth's Love Hurts, which earned her three coaches' chairs to turn, but Shelton was not amongst those that turned. Watch her blind audition below.

The real kicker is Shelton has known Linsey "for years" as he put it.

Shelton kind of redeemed himself by saying "She's one of the best singers I've ever heard in my life."

Linsey decided to go with Pharrell Williams over Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera.

Boyd took to Twitter again later on in the evening to share his slight disappointment that his former coach didn't even turn his chair for Linsey, but he's pleased to know Williams has her on his team.

"[H]appy ‪@Pharrell got her Take care of her buddy!!" he cheered.

Linsey gushed on Twitter about joining Williams' team.

She called it "an honor".

In a video interview, which is below, Linsey further dished about picking Williams.

"I picked Pharrell, which I was like really excited when he turned around," she revealed, adding, "I think Pharrell has the best team honestly."

Tune in on Mondays and Tuesdays starting at 8 p.m. ET for Season 8 of The Voice on NBC.
