The new episode, December Solstice, starring Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross and special guest Robert Vaughn, was centered around celebrity author Walter Briggs (Vaughn) and his young new wife Charmaine (Cross).

Briggs's daughters (Delilah and Judith), who are from his previous marriage, believe that Charmaine is responsible for raping their father.

While the girls haven't seen this first hand, their father's housekeeper told them that Charmaine has been secretly pumping their father full of erectile dysfunction pills. Briggs is an 80-year-old man who's suffering from dementia. The pills are dangerous for his health, and cause him to go into cardiac arrest.

After suffering from a heart attack, Charmaine has her husband removed from the hospital and she wants to take him to Canada to get him away from his daughters.

Luckily SVU detectives are able to track down the duo and Charmaine is later arrested. Sadly after being returned to the hospital, Briggs suffers another heart attack and dies.

The big twist comes when a video surfaces proving that Delilah and her father were feuding over rights to some of his playwrights. Judith is furious and now she wants to take the stand to testify against her sister for lying to her.

Eventually detectives offer Charmaine a plea deal, and she announces that after Briggs' death, she had a private doctor to perform an electro probe anal erectile procedure to remove his sperm and now she has a surrogate to carry their baby.

Law and Order: SVU airs every Wednesday night at 9 p.m. on NBC.
