Fifty Shades of Grey has become one of the most popular movies in the world, and while fans have been eager to see the new film in theaters there's one person who still hasn't seen it.

Lead actress Dakota Johnson, who plays the role of Anastasia Steele, admitted that her mom still hasn't seen the new movie and she's a little upset about it.

The actress, who's hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend, along with SNL cast member Taran Killam begged Johnson's mother to see the new film, but their begging and pleading probably won't work.

In the video, which can be seen below, Johnson and Killam are shooting the new promo for this weekend's episode of SNL, and Killam joked that Johnson's mom is not being supportive therefore she needs to see Fifty Shades.

Back in December, TMZ reported that Johnson's mom, Melanie Griffith, was spotted outside of a restaurant in Los Angeles, Calif. and she told the cameras that she wouldn't be watching the film.

According to the site, Griffith told photogs there are a number of reasons behind her decision to boycott the film. 

In a video obtained by TMZ, Griffith said that she won't be seeing the movie because her daughter doesn't want her to see it and also because it may be a little inappropriate.

Johnson is hosting Saturday Night Live on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 11:30 p.m. on NBC. Viewers can watch a new SNL promo video below.
