Even as Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher prepare to welcome their first child, the pair have taken the time to promote a cause which is very important to them.

Childhood Photos Proves Carrie Underwood Was Destined For Greatness?

Fisher, who plays in the NHL for the Nashville Predators, posted a photo on Twitter Feb. 27 of him and his wife each with a red X on their hands in support of the "End It Movement" against slavery.

The tweet was designed in support of Shine A Light On Slavery Day, which is part of a movement to free the nearly 3 million people around the world who are still enslaved.

Underwood is no stranger to getting involved with good causes. For years she's remained actively involved with pet charities. No cause has ever been too small for the singer. In fact, she's even been known to pull over on the side of the road to help injured birds.

It seems that even as the country star prepares for the busy life of a new mother, she is striving to build a better world for her son to learn and grow in.

Underwood and Fisher announced that they are expecting their first child together back in September. The singer is expected to give birth to their baby boy this spring, though the due date has been kept a heavily guarded secret over the last few weeks.
