Jordin Sparks has been pretty open about her split with Jason Derulo lately and in a recent interview she dished on addressing their romance and breakup in her new music.

She told E! News earlier this month that there are a "couple" of songs about Derulo in her upcoming album Right Here, Right Now.

"Everybody...takes experiences from their personal life and puts it in there because that's how you get the emotion...that's how that one fan that is laying in her room puts on your record and she cries with you because she feels it with you...I've always drawn from personal experiences to sing songs."

Still, she compared her new songs to her first singles like No Air. She confessed that back then she could only "imagine" what it was like to go through a rough breakup. Now she knows it firsthand.

"Now, I know what it feels like to feel like I can't get out of bed in the morning because it hurts so bad or feel like I can't breathe, but I also know the other side. Like, I know what those butterflies feel like...so I think it's pretty natural to take personal experiences and put them into your music."

But she made it clear she doesn't plan on finding love on reality TV via a series like ABC's The Bachelorette.

"I would not be OK with 20 guys expecting to come and try to kiss me!"

She also talked working with 2 Chainz on her newest single Double Tap.
