Jennifer Aniston was spotted carrying a newborn baby this week - but the tot was only fictional.

The actress was photographed holding a fake bundle of joy on the set of her new film, "We're The Millers," which is shooting in New Mexico. The scene seemed to feature Aniston holding a child as she stood in front of an RV and was questioned by police.

The film, which also stars Jason Sudeikis and Emma Roberts, is a dark comedy about a drug dealer who tries to smuggle drugs into the United States by creating a fake family for himself.

The fake baby for the film is only the most recent fictional child for Aniston. She recently appeared in a promotional video for Smartwater in which she pretended to be pregnant with triplets.

The video went viral online, but famous homemaker Martha Stewart spoke out against the clip during an appearance on the "Today" show.

"I don't really like it. I just think it makes fun of some things and shows some bad examples to the youth of America," Stewart said. "People learn from YouTube. It's funny to a point and then it sort of steps over the bounds, I think, of sensibility."

Despite all the fictional children surrounding her, friends of Aniston say she and her fiancé Justin Theroux are hoping to have real kids of their own as soon as possible.

"In truth, she'll be overjoyed whenever it happens; if that means she has to walk down the aisle with a baby bump and do her toasts with apple cider, then so be it," an insider said.

Aniston has said in interviews for years that she'd love to have a family, so it's no surprise the 43-year-old actress is ready to have a child with Theroux.

"It's no secret she wanted a baby yesterday, so they're not wasting any time," the source said. "She's not in denial; she knows it may be difficult."
