He was given a clean slate with all charges against him dropped in exchange for his promise that he would begin working undercover in the Jerome crime organization, and now, Jake (Billy Miller) is waiting to find out if he will genuinely be able to stay out of jail on General Hospital.

Jake's Identity Is Revealed?

Commissioner Sloane (Grayson McCouch) gave Jake the pardon under those conditions, and Jake sought Sam (Kelly Monaco) out to see if her father, Julian (Michael DeVry) would accept him in the organization-meaning now, all he can do is wait and see if he'll be able to spy on the mob moss and his operatives.

"All we have to do is sit back and wait for Sam to call," he tells Carly (Laura Wright) in a preview clip for the Friday, March 13 episode.

And though her history with Jake is complicated because of the things he did to her while under Helena's (Constance Towers) control, Sam will make the effort on Jake's behalf, and ask Julian for his help.

"I was going to ask you to give somebody a job," she says in the clip.

Meanwhile, Jake has also caused some problems for several of the women in Port Charles and their relationships, as they have all tended to find themselves drawn to him (unaware that they are connected to him because he is really Jason Morgan back from the dead). And while Patrick (Jason Thompson) feels more confident that Sam won't ditch him for Jake, and Sonny (Maurice Benard) tries to be more considerate of Carly's connection to him-he is still a major problem for Ric (Rick Hearst) and Liz (Rebecca Herbst).

Now, Ric will demand answers from Liz once and for all about her feelings for Jake-and he may not like the answer she gives him.

"The answer is yes," she says in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
