Her love life has never been easy, and things are not getting any better for Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) on General Hospital.

Spinelli Tries To Find A NEw Way To Break Up Maxie & Nathan

Her new relationship with Nathan (Ryan Paevy) has been on the rocks since she confessed to helping Johnny (Brandon Barash) escape town-and things became a lot more stressful when Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) came to town with his and Maxie's daughter, Georgie-and confessed he still had feelings for her and wanted to be a family again.

Now, ever since, Maxie has been thrown in the middle of a battle between Spinelli and Nathan as she tries to figure out what she genuinely wants as well. As a result, she will go to the only friend who helps her think things through with a level head, Lulu (Emmee Rylan) for advice-and will have to potentially answer a tough question.

Maxie Makes A Decision

"Does Spinelli have a chance with you?" Lulu asks Maxie in a preview clip for the Wednesday, March 11 episode.

While Maxie considers whether or not Spinelli does have an opportunity to rekindle the flame he once shared with her, he himself does believe he has that shot-and it busy gloating about it.

"All is not lost for Maxie and me," he says to Sam (Kelly Monaco) in the clip.

And fortunately for Spinelli (and maybe unfortunately for Maxie), Nathan seems to believe Spinelli has that chance as well-and is considering just exiting the race completely so Maxie no longer has to feel torn.

"Isn't it best for everybody if I just bow out?" he asks Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
