While the first half of the season wasn't short on nudity, Outlander will be throwing in some good old fashioned skinny dipping when it returns to Starz this spring.

'Outlander' Star Admits He Prefers Playing Evil Jack Over Frank

It would seem that the Starz drama believes in equality when it comes to full frontal nudity onscreen, which is why the show gives quite a lesson in both female and male anatomy. According to E! on Tuesday, the second half of the season will feature a scene in which Jamie (Sam Heughan) stands up out of a river in his birthday suit. E! was unable to elaborate on the context of the scene and it's uncertain when it will take place exactly, though it will most likely send fans into a tizzy.

Jamie will also get an earful from new wife Claire (Caitriona Balfe) regarding a bit of drunkenness, which will be nothing compared to the dark days which lie ahead. Both of the river and the drinking scenes will take place within the first five episodes, though things will take a devastating turn as the finale nears.

'Outlander' is Approaching One 'Strange' & 'Fearless' Finale

"The last couple chapters of season one's story we're going to go to really dark and disturbing places…" warned writer and producer Ronald D. Moore during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter on March 12. "There are some things that are going to happen you're not going to like, but we have these other stories and so sort of go along with us on the ride."

Outlander will return on Starz for the remainder of its first season Saturday, April 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
