Singr-songwriter Joni Mitchell was rushed to the hospital late last month, but an update from officials say that she is getting stronger.

US Magazine reported that the update was released on her official website on Friday.

"Joni remains under observation in the hospital and is resting comfortably," the statement reads. "We are encouraged by her progress and she continues to improve and get stronger each day."

The 71-year-old was found unconscious in her Los Angeles home on March 31st. She then regained consciousness during the ambulance ride to a nearby hospital and was put in intensive care at the time, the publication reported.

Though the singer hasn't yet make a public statement herself, she is apparently open to hearing from her fans.

A webpage was created where Facebook and Twitter posts would appear so that she can read them as she continues to improve.

The webpage is titled, "We Love You, Joni!" and features all Twitter post that contain the hashtag #WeLoveYouJoni.

The site is updated in real-time with fans wishing her well and quoting things she has said in the past.

Joni Mitchell is a music icon from the 60s and 70s and played a huge part in the feminist movement. She wrote many popular songs like Paradise. Mitchell began singing in small nightclubs in Saskatchewan and Western Canada. She also sings Both Sides Now, Big Yellow Taxi, The Cirlce Game, A Case of You and All I Want.
