The preview for the upcoming episode, titled 'Beyond Borders,' which is also the pilot of the Criminal Minds spin-off was revealed on April 5.

Gary Sinise and Anna Gunn are seen looking sharp and determined in their roles as detectives in the international unit of the BAU. "Criminal Minds crosses the border in a case so big, it will take two teams to solve it," runs the tagline to the preview. The series is going international with the episode, aptly titled Beyond Borders, as the BAU assists the International Unit on a case in Barbados. Sinise is set to star as Unit Chief Jack Garrett. 

"We have only got twelve hours to find them alive," Garrett says in the clip.

Reid's New Girlfriend Revealed In Criminal Minds? 

Breaking Bad's Anna Gunn will play the part of Ally Lambert, who is a member of Garret's unit, and is seen playing a key role in the case.

From the orginal BAU we are familiar with, David Rossi (Joe Mantegna) and Hotch (Thomas Gibson) are seen joining the new crew in Barbados. Disturbing glimpses of the hostages with their kidnapper aboard a boat in the sea are also shown in the clip. "He gets off on controlling their lives until the very end," Lambert says of the hostage in the video.

Walking Dead alum Tyler James Williams will also be starring in the spin-off, although he is not seen in the preview. 

Here's the official synopsis:

"When a family of four is abducted while on vacation in Barbados, the BAU is called to assist Unit Chief Jack Garrett (Sinise) and his International Unit on their investigation. Garrett and his unit, the FBI's top division for handling cases involving Americans abroad, work jointly with Hotch and his team when they discover that this case matches one the BAU investigated last year in Florida."

'Beyond Borders' will air on CBS on April 8.
