The live playoffs kicked off Monday night for Season 8 of The Voice with Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams' teams taking the stage.

Monday night, Shelton's five contestants, consisting of, Sarah Potenza, Corey Kent White, Brooke Adee, Meghan Linsey and Hannah Kirby, performed live on The Voice stage and some earned praise from some very important people, including former contestants from past seasons.

Williams' five contestants, consisting of, Lowell Oakley, Sawyer Fredericks, Koryn Hawthorne, Caitlin Caporale and Mia Z, also managed to capture the attention of very important people with their performances too.

Shelton's Potenza and Linsey have complete support from last season's winner Craig Wayne Boyd, who also held a spot on Team Blake.

The country crooner declared on Twitter he voted for the two females.

Potenza even channeled Boyd's fringe-look, which Boyd approved of since he tweeted the hashtag "#yeehaw".

Williams' artist Oakley gave an outstanding performance of Nick Jonas' Jealous, which led to the former Jonas Brother sending some praise via Twitter.

"[G]reat job with it bro!" Jonas shared.

Oakley also received a rave review from last season's Chris Jamison who also performed Jealous on The Voice stage.

Oakley revealed to Jamison that Jealous is quite the challenge, but he "learned a lot from" Jamison's performance of it, which led to Jamison telling the Team Pharrell artist, "You were awesome."

Fredericks also pulled in some praise from a previous contestant on the series. Matt McAndrew, who also appeared last season, told the 16-year-old he "really enjoyed" his performance of Trouble by Ray LaMontange.

He even went as far to say it was "special stuff".

The Voice live playoffs continue tonight, April 7, with Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine's teams performing. Sia will also be giving a performance and then on Wednesday during the live results show, Jamison will take the stage with Wiz Khalifa.
