One of the most popular music artists of the year is going to be gracing the stage on X Factor New Zealand.

Joe Irvine Thanks His Fans Amid Bullying Scandal On 'X Factor New Zealand'

On Tuesday, 3 News announced that Ed Sheeran will be performing on the singing competition during the results show on Monday, April 13. Some of his biggest hits include "Thinking Out Loud," "I See Fire" and "Give Me Love."

It's actually a little convenient that Sheeran will appear on this show since he commented on the scandal that took place in a previous episode when one of the contestants was bullied by two former judges. When Natalia Kills and her husband, Willy Moon, delivered cruel criticism to performer Joe Irvine, Sheeran tweeted him a message:

Simon Cowell Opens Up On Harsh 'X Factor New Zealand' Comments

"Don't worry about what anyone else says man. Enjoy yourself with it, that's what singing is about, not what other people think."

After Kills and Moon trashed Irvine for how he dressed himself in the episode, the two judges were fired immediately. While Moon compared the contestant to fictional murderer Norman Bates, Kills told Irvine that he made her "sick."

"As an artist who respects creativity and intellectual property, I am disgusted at how much you have copies my husband," Kills told Irvine from behind the table. "From the hair to the suit, do you not have any value or respect for originality? You're a laughing stock. It's cheesy, it's disgusting. I personally found it absolutely artistically atrocious."
