Boston Defense Attorneys Predict Aaron Hernandez Will Be Acquitted

The judge presiding over the murder case banned the man after his van was seen following a car full of jurors, which is not only illegal but could have also led to a mistrial in the case.

On Thursday, Yahoo News reported that Robert Cusanelli of WHDH-TV was accused of following two of the jurors and was later summoned into court where Judge Susan E. Garsh told him not to return.

Cusanelli said that he knows following jurors is illegal and added that he made no effort to interact with anyone on the juror stand.

Hernandez, who's on trial for the murder of his friend Odin Lloyd, could possibly be acquitted of the murder charges due to the lack of key evidence.

According to the Boston Herald, Geoffrey Nathan, a Boston criminal defense attorney, says that there have been a number of testimonies that worked in favor of the defense.

"They might have him guilty, but they don't have him beyond a reasonable doubt," Nathan said. "I think they're going to have to give him a pass on this."

Jeffrey Denner, another defense attorney, believes that arguments from both sides will result in a toss up and the default is often an acquittal.

Based on their evidence, the prosecutors have concluded that Hernandez and his two friends picked Lloyd up at his home in Boston then drove him to the industrial park and shot him to death.

Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to the charges however he is also facing separate charges for two murders back in 2012.
