On Thursday, Just Jared posted some shots of the 50 Shades of Grey star as she was walking her dog in New York City. As she strolled down the sidewalk, she was joined by Hitt as he stood about a foot away from her with his hands in his coat pockets.

This would definitely cause some heads to turn since it was previously reported that these two called it quits. But does that mean that they still like to hang out? The actress did not look that uncomfortable with her former boyfriend being there so perhaps they could be on good terms.

Some might wonder if they will consider giving their romance another try or not, but time will tell on if that'll ever happen.

Rumor has it that the reason why Johnson and Hitt broke up was due to her blockbuster film taking over her life.

"[Dakota] has been way too busy to focus any attention to her relationship and Matthew totally shut her out because of that," a source told Hollywood Life.

It seemed doubtful that the two would try to rekindle their relationship mainly since Johnson had other things to focus on.

"[Dakota] would have mourned the breakup more, but keeping busy got her through it," the source said. "She misses the good times but it really doesn't look like they will get back together."
