Actor Dwayne Johnson, who plays the part of Hobbs in the Fast and Furious series, spoke about the possibility of his returning for the sequel to Furious 7 in a recent interview.

What We Know So Far About Fast and Furious 8 

Johnson, who was present for the MTV Music Awards on the evening of April 12, dished about Fast and Furious 8 in an interview backstage, and of what he said it seems like he is definitely on board for the next instalment.

"I talked to Vin today - we had a nice discussion - and I think whatever it is, whatever we come up with for 'Furious 8,' we have to raise the bar, in terms of action, yes, but also in terms of story and character," he said.

Furious 7 Should Win Best Oscar, According To Vin Diesel  

He spoke about how the success of Furious 7 was just "bananas," and said he had the best time working on the film.

Johnson presented the award for Best Film, which was won by The Fault In Our Stars.

Vin Diesel also spoke about the series backstage at the awards. He was glad that Furious 7 as tribute to Walker was honored by the audiences. "The fact that the world embraced it and allowed it to be Paul's legacy, it's just a beautiful thing," he said.

The actor went on to reveal that Walker was the one who was certain of the sequel to Furious 7, and always affirmed it as fact.

"Paul used to say that ['Fast & Furious'] 8 was guaranteed and, in some ways, when you're brother guarantees something, you have to make sure it comes to pass," Diesel said.
