Hulk Hogan announced that he will sue his best friend Bubba The Love Sponge for secretly taping his tryst with Bubba's ex-wife Heather Clem.

The professional wrestling star will file the lawsuit in Florida with Clem as a co-defendant on the grounds of invasion of privacy, according to a report.

The basis for the claim stems from idea that Clem and Bubba planned on filming the sexual encounter without Hogan's knowledge. Hogan claimed the couple had asked him for two years to have sex with Clem before he actually agreed to it.

TMZ has seen the footage in its entirety and reported that after the pair did the dirty deed, when Hogan left the room, Bubba entered and said to Clem, "If we ever did want to retire, all we'd have to do is use this footage."

The gossip website reported details of the clip to Hogan shortly after his interview on Howard Stern's radio show. In the sit-down, he told Stern he felt confident he was not betrayed by his best friend.

Hogan later appeared on TMZ Live stating that Bubba "adamantly denied" being reponsible for the leak. He said he was "sick to his stomach" over the possibility that Bubba was behind the whole sex-tape-for-profit scandal. Hogan said he told Bubba, "If you had anything to do with this, that means we were never friends."

Hogan's attorney, David R. Houston, contacted the St. Petersburg, Fla., Police Department on Oct. 9 to obtain a police report. He requested the report on the grounds that Hogan was recorded without his consent.

The sex tape leak scandal emerged when Gawker.com obtained the 30-minute, 17-second long video and posted it on their website on Oct. 4. However, Bubba doesn't seem to mind that Hogan and his ex are together: allegedly, Bubba is the one chatting with them before the pair gets down and dirty.

Hogan's attorney has already sent a cease-and-desist letter to Gawker, demanding the website remove the minute-long clip it posted, depicting Hulk having sex. The footage is stil posted on the website and has been viewed over 3 million times since it was posted less than two weeks ago.
